Thai Herbs to Beat the Heat
Thailand is home to a rich variety of traditional herbs known for their natural cooling properties. Many of these herbs help reduce body heat and refresh the body during the hot season.
Three popular examples are bael fruit (Matoom), chrysanthemum (Kekhuay) and Butterfly Pea (Anchan), commonly enjoyed as refreshing herbal drinks in Thailand. They are aromatic, naturally cooling, and easy to prepare at home.
🫖 Bael Fruit Drink

Boil dried bael fruit with water for 20–30 minutes, add rock sugar to taste, then strain and serve warm or chilled.
🌼 Chrysanthemum Drink

Simmer dried chrysanthemum flowers in boiling water for 10–15 minutes, add rock sugar to taste, then strain and serve warm or over ice.
🦋 Butterfly Pea (Anchan)

Steep the butterfly pea flowers in hot water for 5–10 minutes until the water turns deep blue. Strain into a glass and sweeten to taste if desired. Add a squeeze of lime or lemon for a refreshing twist and a natural purple color. Serve warm or over ice.

Reminder: Samakkhi Entrance Renovation

Residents are kindly reminded that the Samakkhi Entrance renovation project will take place from March 15 to August 8, 2026. During this period, a temporary guardhouse will operate as the main checkpoint while the new security post is being constructed. Visitor procedures, including the card exchange system, will remain unchanged.
To ensure safety and smooth traffic flow, residents are kindly requested to observe the following guidelines:
For Vehicle Operators
- RFID access will be temporarily suspended. Please present your RFID card to the guard for manual barrier access.
- One entry lane and one exit lane will remain open at all times.
- Please slow down and follow security staff instructions when approaching the entrance.
For Pedestrians
- Please use the designated covered safety tunnel when entering or exiting the community.
- Follow posted safety signs and guidance from security personnel.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to improve the Samakkhi Entrance for the community.
Circuit Training Class

Nichada Fitness & Recreation is pleased to welcome our newest fitness instructor, Mr. Thanutum Kwanlamai (Top) Joins him for our new Circuit Training Class every Tuesday from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM at NICC Gym.

Circuit Training is a workout method that involves alternating between several exercises targeting different muscle groups with minimal rest in between, blending both strength and aerobic conditioning.
