Reminder on dog leash and animal excrement in Nichada

With recent reports and observations from residents regarding pets being walked without leashes and animal excrement appearing in common areas, we would like to remind all residents of the following pet regulations. These measures are in place to enhance safety and maintain a high quality of life within the Nichada Thani community. They are also aligned with applicable Thai laws and local regulations governing responsible pet ownership and public safety.
- All pets must wear a collar displaying the owner’s name and address (recommended in both Thai and English).
- Dogs that may display aggressive behavior must wear a muzzle when in public areas.
- All pets must have up-to-date vaccinations.
- Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times when outdoors and under the control of a responsible person. Pets are not permitted to roam freely in common or public areas.
- Pet owners are required to immediately clean up and properly dispose of any animal excrement in common and public areas. Owners remain responsible for their pets’ actions and behavior at all times.
- Owners must ensure their pets are free from parasites and will be held liable for any nuisance, injury, or health risk caused by their pets. In serious cases, police intervention may be requested.

Penalties
A fine of 500 Baht will apply for general non-compliance. A fine of 5,000 Baht will be imposed for serious violations, including uncollected animal waste, aggressive dogs without muzzles, or leash regulation breaches.

Chinese New Year: An Elegant Tradition of Renewal and Prosperity

Chinese New Year, also known as Lunar New Year, is a timeless celebration with roots spanning more than 3,000 years. Observed according to the lunar calendar, the festival marks the arrival of spring and symbolizes renewal, prosperity, and the promise of new beginnings. In 2026, the main celebrations in Thailand will take place from February 15th to February 17th.
In 2026, Chinese New Year welcomes the Year of the Horse, a symbol of vitality, confidence, and forward momentum.
During this auspicious season, homes are refreshed and adorned with red accents and lanterns, representing happiness and prosperity. Families come together for meaningful reunion dinners, sharing traditional dishes that symbolize abundance, longevity, and success. Red envelopes, or Ang Pao, are exchanged as gestures of blessing, goodwill, and prosperity.
Celebrating with Care in Nichada
To maintain a safe, serene, and harmonious living environment, residents are kindly reminded to observe Nichada’s guidelines regarding the use of fireworks and firecrackers. While these traditions are closely associated with celebration, residents are advised to refrain from their use within the premises and community, as they may cause disturbance to fellow residents and pets.
We encourage everyone to celebrate responsibly, respecting community regulations and one another, so that the festive season may be enjoyed in comfort and peace by all.
May the Year of the Horse bring vitality, success, and harmony to every home.

Choosing the Right Workout for the Time You Have

Many people believe that exercise only works if it takes a long time. In fact, results depend more on choosing the right workout for the time available.
30 minutes
Ideal for busy days. HIIT helps activate the heart and body quickly. Basic movements such as squats, jumping jacks, and planks can boost energy and refresh the body.
45 minutes
A balanced option for most people. Combining light cardio, like brisk walking or cycling, with strength training improves fitness and relieves muscle tension from daily activities.
60 minutes
A suitable duration for complete body care. Warming up, training major muscle groups, and stretching help the body improve safely and reduce injury risk.
120 minutes
Best for those who exercise regularly. Longer sessions allow for detailed training, technique focus, and better recovery, but they should be well planned to avoid overfatigue.
Effective exercise is not measured by time spent, but by how well it fits your lifestyle.
