Dear Resident
5 Tips for Keeping Your Home Safe During Long Holidays from Nichada Group
The Nichada Group of Companies wishes all of our residents a relaxing summer holiday. For those of you leaving Nichada Thani for vacation, we wish you safe travels, and look forward to seeing you again in August. For those of you moving on to your next destination, it has been our pleasure having your presence in Nichada Thani and we hope to meet again soon.
As the local international schools will be closing for the summer, we realize that many of our residents will be taking vacations of both long and short durations. We have a few tips for you which we strongly recommend in order to better secure your home during your vacation.
1. Turn off the water / water pump to your home. If a pipe should burst during your vacation, turning off the water / water pump prior to departure will keep the home safe from water damage.

2. Turn off all air conditioning units while you are away from the property during the summer to ensure energy conservation and prevent unnecessary wear on the equipment. This helps prevent any potential issues, such as electrical faults or water leaks from condensation, and supports responsible energy use.

3. Unplug appliances not deemed necessary prior to your vacation which may be subject to power surges if we experience power outages during your time away from home.

4. Move inside or secure bicycles and other personal property which you may normally keep outside.

5. Advise the Security Center if your home will be vacant so our security staff is aware that visitors should not be allowed on your property / inside your home during this time. You may send an email to security@nichada.com attention K. Toom

From all of us at the Nichada Group of Companies, best wishes for an enjoyable holiday

Safety First: Why Cyclists Should Always Wear Helmets – Inside and Outside Nichada Thani

Cycling is a popular and enjoyable way to get around Nichada Thani. Whether you’re heading to school, exercising, or simply enjoying the neighborhood, riding a bicycle offers many benefits for health, the environment, and the community.
However, safety must always come first, and that starts with wearing a helmet every time you ride.
Helmets Save Lives
Wearing a helmet can significantly reduce the risk of serious head injuries in the event of an accident. Even at low speeds or short distances, a fall or collision can cause harm. A properly fitted helmet acts as your first line of defense, helping to protect your brain in case of impact.

Accidents Can Happen Anywhere
Some cyclists may feel that riding within the quiet and secure environment of Nichada Thani makes helmets unnecessary. While Nichada is a gated community, it is still a shared space with vehicles, pedestrians, and other cyclists, and accidents can happen unexpectedly. It’s just as important to wear your helmet inside Nichada as it is outside.

Set a Good Example
Parents, guardians, and older siblings can help promote a culture of safety by consistently wearing helmets themselves. Setting a positive example encourages younger riders to follow suit and reinforces safe habits from an early age.

Ride smart. Ride safe. Wear a helmet, every ride and every time.

COVID-19 Situation: Nichada Group Invites Everyone to Monitor and Maintain Health Together
From current public health reports, Thailand is facing a resurgence of COVID-19 infections, particularly in the past few days, with a significant increase in newly reported cases.
Nichada Group wishes to take this opportunity to emphasize the importance of vigilance and adherence to disease prevention measures for the safety of yourselves, your families, and our community.
What we know about the current situation:
Increased Infections: Latest data indicates a rise in new cases from late May to early June, with the majority still being Omicron sub-variants.
Severity of Illness: While the overall symptoms from the currently circulating strains are not as severe as the original variant, there remains a risk for the elderly, those with underlying health conditions, and those who have not received sufficient booster shots, which could lead to severe symptoms, pneumonia, or death.
Measures we recommend everyone collectively follow for prevention and vigilance:
Wear a face mask: Consider wearing a face mask consistently, especially in crowded areas, enclosed spaces with poor ventilation, or when in close proximity to the elderly and vulnerable groups.

Wash hands frequently: Washing hands with soap and water or alcohol-based gel remains an effective way to reduce germ transmission.

Maintain social distancing: If possible, maintain distance from others, especially in situations where risk cannot be assessed.

Monitor your own symptoms: If you have flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, or sore throat, you should rest at home and take an ATK test for confirmation.

We invite all of you to cooperate in adhering to these preventive measures so that we can go about our daily lives safely and confidently.
