In loving memory of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen of Mother

It is with the deepest and most profound sorrow that the management and staff of The Nichada Group of Companies join the Kingdom of Thailand in mourning the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother of Thailand, on October 24, 2025.

Her Majesty The Queen Mother was forever cherished and held a special place in the hearts of the Thai people. Her profound contributions and unwavering devotion to the nation will be remembered and honored for generations to come.

A Legacy of Grace: Mother of the Nation

Throughout her life, Her Majesty The Queen Mother tirelessly dedicated herself to improving the quality of life for the Thai people, especially in rural areas, through numerous royally-initiated projects. Most notably, her founding of the SUPPORT Foundation preserved and revitalized Thailand’s invaluable cultural heritage and traditional crafts.

She was more than a queen; she was the "Mother of the Nation," whose love and care extended to all corners of the kingdom.

Guidance on Attire and Conduct

To show the utmost respect during this period of national mourning, we kindly ask for everyone’s cooperation in observing the following guidelines:

  • Appropriate Attire: Please wear modest and respectful clothing in subdued, mourning colors (e.g., black, white, gray, or dark tones).
  • Please Refrain From: Wearing brightly colored or celebratory outfits.
  • Respectful Conduct: Please maintain a quiet and solemn demeanor to honor this period of remembrance.

Her Majesty's grace and benevolence will remain in our hearts forever.

Exercise for the Elderly

Elderly individuals should begin exercising gradually, starting with light activities and increasing intensity over time. The focus should be on warming up, stretching, and moderate-intensity exercises such as walking, which help improve heart, lung, and circulatory function. Exercise should be done regularly for 20–30 minutes a day, at least 3–5 days a week. Activities involving high impact or heavy weightlifting should be avoided.

Principles of Exercise for the Elderly

  • Intensity: Exercise at a moderate level—intense enough that you can still talk but not sing.
  • Frequency: Start with 2–3 times per week, and gradually increase to 4–5 times per week as the body becomes stronger.
  • Duration: Exercise for 20–30 minutes per day, divided into three phases:
  • Warm-up (5–10 minutes): Begin with slow walking or marching in place.
  • Exercise (10–15 minutes): Focus on movements involving major muscle groups, such as brisk walking or stretching.
  • Cool-down (5–10 minutes): Slow down your pace and perform gentle stretching.
  • Progression: Gradually increase the intensity and duration of exercise as your fitness level improves.
