Keeping Nichada Community Beautiful – Even at Night

Beginning July 1, overnight street and parking area cleaning has been introduced to help keep the Nichada community clean, safe, and welcoming while minimizing disruption to residents during daytime hours.

These behind-the-scenes efforts help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our community, ensuring that residents wake up each morning to clean streets and well-maintained surroundings.

If you encounter Landscape staff, we kindly ask all drivers to slow down, remain alert, and exercise extra caution when passing through work areas to help ensure the safety of the Landscape team members.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and support as we work together to keep Nichada a clean, beautiful, and enjoyable place to live.

Samakkhi Entrance Renovation Progress Update

We are pleased to share that the renovation of the Samakkhi Entrance has now reached 80% completion, with significant progress made over the past several months.

The majority of the work on the new Security Checkpoint has been completed, and the upgraded facility is beginning to take its final shape. Once finished, the new checkpoint will enhance both security operations and the overall arrival experience for residents and visitors.

The remaining works include:

  • Reconstruction and resurfacing of the entrance roadway
  • Installation and completion of the RFID access lanes
  • Renovation of walkways on both sides of the entrance
  • Minor finishing works and final touch-ups

The project continues to progress according to schedule, and all renovation works are expected to be completed as planned.

We sincerely appreciate the cooperation of all residents throughout the construction period.

Tropical Storm Maysak and Typhoon Bavi put Asia on weather alert

Two powerful weather systems, Tropical Storm Maysak and Super Typhoon Bavi are currently affecting parts of Asia, bringing heavy rain, strong winds, and rough sea conditions to several countries.

Although neither storm is expected to directly impact Thailand, their interaction with the southwest monsoon may bring increased rainfall and isolated heavy showers to some areas. Residents are encouraged to stay updated with the latest weather forecasts and exercise caution during periods of heavy rain. Those planning to travel to coastal destinations or seaside resorts should also check the latest weather conditions before departure, as strong winds, high waves, and rough seas may affect ferry services, marine activities, and beach conditions.

To stay safe during the rainy season, we recommend:

  • Secure loose outdoor furniture and decorations.
  • Avoid driving through flooded roads or low-lying areas.
  • Keep mobile devices charged in case of power interruptions.
  • Clear leaves and debris from drains around your home to help reduce localized flooding.
  • Allow extra travel time during periods of heavy rainfall.

Stretching before bed

Stretching before bed every day helps relieve muscle tension accumulated throughout the day, stimulates blood circulation, reduces aches and pains, and signals your brain that it is time to rest. This will help you fall into a deeper and more restful sleep. You should spend about 5–10 minutes performing static stretches, while taking deep breaths in and out.

Here are 5 simple, basic stretches you can do right on your bed or a yoga mat:

1. Knee-to-Chest Stretch

  • How to do it: Lie flat on your back on the bed. Bend both knees, clasp your hands together, and pull your knees toward your chest as much as possible.
  • Breathing: Breathe normally. Hold the position for 20–30 seconds.
  • Benefits: Stretches the lower back and hips.

2. Supine Spinal Twist

  • How to do it: Start by lying on your back. Bend both knees, then slowly lower both knees down to the left side while turning your head and extending your arms out to the right.
  • Breathing: Hold for 20–30 seconds, then switch sides.
  • Benefits: Relieves tension in the back muscles and spine, and helps balance the body.

3. Child’s Pose

  • How to do it: Kneel on the floor and sit back on your heels. Slowly walk your hands forward until your arms are fully extended, lowering your torso down. Rest your forehead on the bed or a pillow.
  • Breathing: Take deep, relaxing breaths. Hold for 30–60 seconds.
  • Benefits: Stretches the upper back, shoulders, and neck, and significantly reduces mental stress.

4. Neck Stretch

  • How to do it: Sit comfortably or on the edge of the bed. Slowly tilt your head to the left, using your left hand to gently pull your head down until you feel a stretch in your right neck and shoulder area.
  • Breathing: Hold for 15–20 seconds, then repeat on the opposite side.
  • Benefits: Reduces neck and shoulder stiffness from looking down or working all day.

5. Legs-Up-The-Wall Pose

  • How to do it: Lie flat on your back on the bed or floor, scooting your hips as close to the wall as possible. Extend both legs straight up against the wall.
  • Breathing: Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and hold for 1–3 minutes.
  • Benefits: Improves blood flow back to the heart, reduces leg swelling, and relaxes the nervous system.
